PHL Synaptik is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted for not one but two submissions in the highly coveted ‘Best Insourcing Initiative by an Independent Healthcare Provider’ category at the HSJ Independent Awards 2024.
The two submissions that have earned this recognition are:
- Manx Care Orthopaedic Restoration, Recovery, and Sustainability – Introducing ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) to improve patient recovery and care pathways.
- Enhancing Healthcare Delivery through Teledermatology – A collaborative approach to reducing wait lists and improving patient outcomes.
The HSJ Independent Awards celebrate the invaluable contributions of independent healthcare providers and their role in advancing healthcare innovation, integration, and excellence. Being shortlisted twice in this prestigious category highlights PHL Synaptik’s commitment to pioneering innovation and delivering solutions that support the wider healthcare system.
Ross Brand, CEO of PHL Group, commented:
“We are incredibly proud to see PHL Synaptik recognised at this level. These initiatives reflect our unwavering commitment to improving patient outcomes and supporting the healthcare system through innovative and efficient healthcare solutions. This recognition is a tribute to the hard work, passion and expertise of our dedicated team.”
The Manx Care Orthopaedic Restoration, Recovery, and Sustainability initiative introduced the ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) programme to improve patient recovery times and streamline care pathways. This approach aims to deliver better outcomes for patients while ensuring the most efficient use of healthcare resources on the Isle of Man.
The Teledermatology Initiative leverages a collaborative approach to reduce wait times and improve patient outcomes. By integrating teledermatology into service delivery, PHL Synaptik has helped NHS Borders tackle growing dermatology backlogs while ensuring patients receive faster, high-quality care.
These initiatives underscore PHL Synaptik’s role as a leader in healthcare insourcing, driving positive change in partnership with healthcare systems to meet growing demands.
The winners of the HSJ Independent Awards 2024 will be announced at a ceremony next year. Until then, PHL Synaptik celebrates the recognition and looks forward to continuing its mission to support healthcare systems, innovate care pathways, and enhance patient outcomes.
Congratulations to everyone involved in these incredible achievements.
